I made oatmeal cookies today. (Actually I just made the dough, I'll bake them later.) Rachel helped out, and was introduced today to the joys of licking the beaters.

Our daughters are so darn cute. Even when getting messy faces full of oatmeal cookie dough.
You were introduced to the joys of licking the beaters???? You mean to tell me that you've never experienced that before? That's the WHOLE reason to make cookies.(Just ask Mar, who, if left alone with the beaters and cookie dough wouldn't leave anything left to bake. . . )
This is only the second time I've made cookies in many many years. The first time was a few weeks ago, and I did it after she went to bed.
